The shotgun came packed as shown below. Inside the box were the following:
The stock shim set allows adjustments in heal to a rise of .125", .250" or 0.375" or to a drop of 0.250". These next photos show the "as received" condition of the shotgun. You can click on these, or any other photos in this review, to see high resolution photos showing greater detail. Unfortunately, this was the last shotgun of this model at the store, so I had to take the floor model that had a few marks on the matte surfaces. Since I knew I would give it many more marks myself over time, I didn't make too much of a fuss. Other than the marks, the shotgun seemed to be in new condition which you would expect when buying a shotgun from Wal-Mart.
First Impressions The shotgun had a solid feel and seemed short in length. I'm not sure why, but the shotgun seemed shorter when shouldered than others of the same length. I think this was related to the larger diameter of the breacher being closer to your eyes because it is integral with the barrel.
