Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle Review
Part 2 - What's In The Box

In this part of my review on the Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle I show what you get when you purchase the rifle and also give you my first impressions on this new rifle by Ruger.

 

The rifle came boxed as shown below.

The end of the box had a sticker with key information such as:

• Model: 08400
• Finish: Blued/Matte
• Serial Number: Shown
• Catalog No.: PRCN-RF
• Caliber: 22LR

The contents were boxed as shown below which ensured a good travel without any issues.

• Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle
• Bolt
• BX-15 Magazine
• Gun Lock
• Instruction Manual
• Special Instruction on Disassembly
• Other Printed Material

First Impressions

My first impressions were that the Ruger Precision Rimfire rifle seems like a solid and well built rifle.  The polymer chassis system nearly gives the impression of an aluminum chassis.  The trigger pull felt great, light and crisp.  The aluminum slim handguard had a nice feel and how Ruger implemented the adjustable stock seemed good.  Overall I was impressed and glad I decided to add this one to my collection.
